My commitment to empowering historically ignored voices has been ingrained in me since my pre-professional days. Raised in Long Beach, California, I am a bilingual journalist, editorial, and digital content strategist. Having served as a Global Content Manager at Meta and Google, and as a Bilingual News Digital Content and Social Media Producer for Univision Bay Area and Los Angeles, I have honed my skills in amplifying diverse narratives.
Being the daughter of two Mexican immigrants and the first in my family to attain a college degree, I am acutely aware of the transformative power of education and the importance of providing resources to young at-risk students.
As the founder and CEO of Remarkably Us, a non-profit organization, I am devoted to creating a safe and impactful space through community and storytelling initiatives for current and/or former Latina foster youth. Remarkably Us serves as a platform to bridge the communication gap between Latinas who share common experiences within the foster care system. This cause holds special significance for me as a former foster youth, and I am driven to continue my professional journey by striving to empower underrepresented communities through the impactful sharing of stories.
In addition, as a strategy and creative consultant, I leverage my expertise to help good causes achieve greater impact. Notably, I have collaborated with non-profits such as The Practice Space and Embracing Latina Leadership Alliances (ELLAS), providing invaluable support in shaping their social and digital strategy.
